It's based on the episode "Divide and Conquer."

I wanted it to feel like a presidential assassination. Prime is being operated on and everybody has a slightly different reaction to Laserbeak's attack. Wheeljack and Ratchet lean in to protect him, Jazz yells to stop the intruder, Bumblebee crouches to protect Spike and Chip, etc., etc. Sort of chaotic. Plus I wanted to do something dramatic with the pool of light - make it feel painterly, epic. I think I lost some of the scale, but I wanted to establish a full setting also.

Sadly, I think Prime himself gets lost in the pool of light when he's surrounded by so many dynamic poses. Oh well ...

There are few times when I find a picture so amazing, I'm struck speechless and have to sit drooling at my screen until I'm able to form an actual comment. I love the detail that you've put into this, the different reactions, the style that you did it in, everything just creates a very urgent, chaotic scene. There is a sort of order to it, but you really nailed it in my opinion.

Reminds me of something from a G1 episode. The poses are excellent, and Prime certainly isn't lost in this one as he is surrounded. The lighting is excellent, and while the colors are somewhat subdued, it adds rather than detracts from the overall composition. Great work.

The G1 goodness of this really just makes me giddy inside. Yes, giddy. I've seen a lot of TF fanart, but this is by far and without a doubt on my short list of favorites. G1 will always be the continuity for me, and you've captured it perfectly here; but made it a lot cooler than its (admittedly) cheesy 80s counterpart. I love the way you've got everyone juxtaposed. That can be really hard to do with that many characters, but you pulled it off great. I especially like Ratchet, he looks great. And Bumblebee protecting the humans is a good touch. I love your lines, I love your coloring, and I REALLY love the lighting. Seriously, everything about this makes me very, very happy! Thanks for uploading!

Wow. :wow: Damn, man. Seriously. They need to do another series that looks like THIS. Hasbro wouldn’t know how to handle the craze it would create...

And this kinda reminds me of ‘Lost Episodes' concept that the-Gearsmith has going...:D
